while Twitter and meta get the headlines21 Bay Area Tech companies have announced layoffs since November 1stthis is rough and a lot of those people who are laid off are our neighbors from companies like Salesforce and Lyft to name just a couple of neighbors who have already seen their stock option values Declineand are now looking for work with that many people being laid

off there's uncertainty about like what is going to be the future of this

area if it's gutted because people can not afford to live here to a large extent we're here because of a bet among companies that kept hiring that their bottom lines would keep growing

but they didn't I do believe that it was rapid hiring over the last two years

especially in the pandemic, you were able to get Talent from all across the globe working remotely and at this point somethings in Tech have not grown as much as one would have thought they had grown

and now because Tech plays such a key role in the Bay Area economic engine our economy braces for a Slowdown at least

in the short term, I think Tech's coming back I don't think this is going to ruin
